Application forms for lateral entry in colleges under AU from May 21,

The Tamilnadu government has announced that application forms for lateral entry system for engineering studies in colleges functioning under Anna University will be issued from May 21.

Applications for direct entry into second year BE and B.Tech (LATERAL ENTRY) studies in Govt. Engineering colleges, Govt. aided colleges and self financed colleges in Tamil Nadu for students having completed three-year Diploma / B.Sc will be issued from May 21 to May 25.

Application forms can be obtained from Govt. Polytechnic Colleges, Directorate of Technical Education and Polytechnic and Engineering Colleges of other districts.  

Filled applications should reach, The Secretary, Second Year B.E / B.Tech Degree admissions 2012, ACCET, Karaikudi - 630 004, before May 25, 5:00 PM.

Counselling for lateral entry will be held in the second week of July, at Alagappa University, Karaikudi. 

Eligible candidates will receive call letters through post, according to a Govt. press release.
