Applications for Part time BE & B.Tech from April 27

Application forms for part time B.E & B.Tech for the forth-coming academic year will be issued from April 27 to May 18.

Disclosing a statement regarding this, Directorate of Technical Education told that the application forms will be available from 10 engineering colleges including Govt Engineering colleges of Kovai and Salem on all working days from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM between the above-mentioned days.

SC& ST candidates can obtain the application by paying Rs150 and other community candidates need to pay Rs 300/ for the application.  

Application forms can be also be obtained by sending the DD for the prescribed amount to, The Secretary, Part time BE & B.Tech admissions, Govt Engineering College, Kovai. SC& ST candidates need to attach a copy of their community certificate.

Filled up application should reach, The Secretary, Part time BE & B.Tech admissions, Govt Engineering College, Kovai -14, before May 18. Counseling for these part time courses will take place in the month of June, revealed the Directorate. 

There are nearly 8000 seats available in the part time studies for BE & B.Tech which are conducted separately for working persons in Govt Engineering colleges.
