NEET for admission to UG courses

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to the undergraduate courses while the National Board of Examination will conduct the postgraduate exams.

NEET is set to take-off from 2013-14 and the Union health ministry has informed the state governments that their existing reservation policies would not be disturbed under the proposed scheme and state-wise eligibility merit lists will be prepared.
