Cochin University of Science and Technology has informed that offline registration for its Common Admission Test (B. Tech/ M. Sc Photonics courses) began on Tuesday.
An official release said that this method was introduced to help students who find it difficult to go through the online registration process.
This system will be applicable to those who have not yet uploaded photo or remitted the application fee. They can visit the university website http://iraa.cusat.ac.in and create a user name to download application and chalan forms.
The application fee can be remitted either at SBT or SBI branches.
The form should be sent to Director, International Relations and Academic Admissions (IRAA) unit, Cochin University of Science and Technology either by speed post or delivered at IRAA along with the counter foil of the bank chalan.
Students have been advised to keep a copy of the application form for their record.
The release said that the online registration system turned slow two days after the process began on January 15, as the number of concurrent users increased.
About 38,000 registrations have been done as on February 6.
It said that the online registration facility is expected to pick up speed from Friday onwards.
