Admission begins for Ph.d programmes at BIT, Mesra-

BIT, Mesra to hold entrance exam on 20 Jan, 2012, for admitting candidates in full and part-time Ph.D Programmes.

Candidates having completed M.Phil or Master's Degree in Engineering, Technology, Management, Pharmacy and Architecture or equivalent with atleast 60% marks at master level are eligible to apply. For SC/ST and full-time candidates with a minimum of three years of experience, only 55% marks are required.

Apart from this, candidates with M.phil or Master's Degree in Science or Humanities are also eligible though the percentage of marks differs for them.

However, candidates with other specified qualifications and work experience can also appear if they meet the defined criteria. Good command in spoken and written English is must.

Application forms can be submitted by January 9, 2012.
