NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture)

NATA stand for National Aptitude Test in Architecture. This test is to measures aptitude, aesthetic sensitivity, critical thinking, of candidate for specific field of study, i.e. Architecture.

Those candidates who are interested to pursue admission to undergraduate course in Architecture (Bachelor of Architecture) in India should take the NATA Test. Different authorities of schools and colleges will consider the NATA 2010 test scores for admissions to study Architecture and to measures the credentials of applicants.

NATA entrance exam is conducted by The National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA), and Academic Unit of the Council of Architecture (CoA), to get best knowledge candidate for admission in Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) degree for all architectural institutions in the country.  This course is offered by NITs, IITs, Government Institutions, Government-aided Institutions, Universities, Deemed Universities and Private Universities, other institutes which are established by a Central or State Legislature and other private institutions, for the Academic Session.

Those candidates having 10+2 or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board and University with Mathematics subject with the least 50% aggregate marks.

Test fee of NATA test is Rs.800, and should be paid at the time of registration and before collection of the appointment ticket from the Test Center. Draw the D.D (Demand Draft) / Postal Order / banker's cheque in favour of 'Council of Architecture', payable at New Delhi for NATA 2010 Test

Please download the form for http://www.nata.in website. The form contains all the information related to test centre and course offered and same is also available at all the Test Centers. For online processor we suggest you to take print out. Registration can be done in advance and appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis

Approach the Test Center located at approved colleges / school of Architecture at a location convenient to the candidate along with documents listed below and test fees.

• Fill up and submit the form
• Pay the fees
• Get the online registration form filled
• Get receipt cum appointment voucher with date and time from the Test Center.

Instant you will receive receipt cum appointment letter. In case if any of the test centre refuses issuing of appointment letter please immediately contact to Council of Architecture / NIASA.

• Attested copy of X class mark list
• One recent passport size colour photograph.
• Any valid Id proof along with photograph and signature of the candidate - attested copy
• Demand Draft in favour of 'Council of Architecture' payable at New Delhi.
• Valid email address
