Institutions - 2 State Govt. Colleges and NIT (Assam Quota)

• Pass in HSC Exam of Assam / equivalent with 50% (General) (45% SC & 40% ST) in English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.
• Indian Citizen - Assam
• 17 years and below 21 years

SC: 7%, ST : 10%, ST (Hills) - 5% Sons / daughters of Freedom Fighter - 4 OBC ( MOBC) - 15%, Sport persons - 2 92 Entrance to Entrances NCC - 2, PH - 2, Tea - Gardon labour - 2 Sons and daguther of Central Govt. / Public Sector / employes posted in Assam and services for 1 year - 7 seats Few seats are reversed for GOI nominees

Selection - Entrance Test

Test consists of 3 papers
Mathematics - 100 Marks
Physics - 100 Marks
Chemistry - 100 Marks

• Candidates nominated against reserved seats for other skills, Union teritories and foreign countries.
• Candidates ranked with in the first 10 positions in Pre University Examination of Guwahati, Dibrugarh University. of the Board of Secondary Education, Assam Provided they got less than 75% marks in aggregate in the year of admission. They must apply for Direct Admission within 10 days of Publication of that result
