Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET)

If any student who are willing to pursue the Master of Business Administration (MBA) education at the various affiliated colleges of Anna University (AU) in Tamil Nadu then they have to write the entrance exam ie., Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) which is organized by the Anna University (AU). If you are willing to pursue other courses apart from MBA like MCA, M.E, M.Tech, M.Arch, and M.Plan this test is eligible for the courses in Tamil Nadu. Many other institutes and universities can admit the students on the basis of TANCET for their quota seats.

Every year many students want to be pursue master's degree courses from esteemed colleges of south. TANCET is not so easy to crack and most important engineering entrance test in the south. This test contains data sufficiency, verbal ability and etc. Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is very important entrance exam test for engineering students and score is conventional by number of colleges and universities in the south. Everyone knows that preparing for any entrance tests is not an easy task. If you don’t know how to prepare for TANCET then you must join the top experienced training institutes for preparation and score well in TANCET entrance exam.

The test is splited into 5 sections. Each section comprises 20 questions. Each question is an objective type multiple choice questions with 5 answer choices. The 5 sections are as given below:

• Verbal ability

There may also be few questions on verbal activity, basic science etc.

The candidate must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university or a pass in any degree with 10 + 3 (Diploma) + 3 years pattern.

The candidate must have a bachelor's degree with mathematics/statistics at degree level or mathematics at 10 + 2 level or a pass in 10 + 3 (Diploma) + 3 years pattern with Mathematics at Diploma level or Mathematics / Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level.

Examination pattern of TANCET test question papers. TANCET entrance test contain 100 questions and divided in to 5 sections. The duration of the exam is 2 hours. The exam paper is objective questions with multiple choices and each question contains 5 options (answers). Every correct answer get 1 mark and for incorrect answer leads to 0.25 mark as penalty. If you left unanswered then there is no deduction.

• Hall Tickets will be issued if you come in person to the Co-ordinating Centres with cash or D.D. for the required amount towards Entrance Test fee and a copy of 10th Std. Mark Sheet.
