Manipur Board of Secondary Education

Manipur is a state which is associated at the North East portion of India. The establishment of Manipur Board of Secondary Education took place in the year 1972. Legislation was set up in the year 1972. The board has a great initiation with regards to its academic establishment. Apart from this, Manipur Board of Secondary Education has a great impact on various educational organizations with regards to its board. The board has all the right to conduct recognition as well as affiliation in various schools situated in Manipur.

Today, in Manipur there is a total of 786 schools and high schools that is having its affiliation. The examination conduction for class 10 is also on Manipur Board of Secondary Education. The states having different schools are either managed by the government or that of various private bodies. The curriculum development procedure is also been carried on by Manipur Board of Secondary Education. The text book followed by the students of various Schools till class 10 is also designed really well by the board. The board also has an attached printing press where every educational text books are processed.

There was old structure of text book in various educational institutes. But today, Manipur Board of Secondary Education has changed the previous syllabus. The new syllabus has been introduced with NCF-2005. The board has also conducted its first examination in the year 2010. There was also change of syllabus for all the students who are in the standard 1 to 8. This is for the academic session 2011.

The board is also having great initiation to conduct orientation programs. If the teachers needs to be provided with more training modules, Manipur Board of Secondary Education is the one to provide all trainings for making all up gradation standard education in each level. The evaluation techniques are also upgraded with the proper teaching methodology. The recognition of the board is also an important part of education for secondary education students.
