Assam Board of Secondary Education

Assam lies in the Northeast part of India. The educational system of the state has been established in various articles published in the newspaper as well as the magazines. Assam Board of Secondary Education performs a great role in education system of the state. The board was established under the Assam secondary education act 1961. This act has established Assam Board of Secondary Education in order to enhance overall performance of the state. The development of the secondary education was carried on with the help of Assam Board of Secondary Education. The act was in the full operation on 29th of January 1962. The association has been made with publication within the government of Assam.

Assam Board of Secondary Education has different objectives. The first and foremost objective is to make some improvement in the education system of the state. The examination is also been conducted by Assam Board of Secondary Education at different levels. Since the board is concerned about the secondary education, everything related to the secondary education of the state is been taken care by the Assam Board of Secondary Education. The proper check of quality education been imparted in various school and colleges is been taken care by Assam Board of Secondary Education. The board has all the right to provide awards and certificated to all the candidates who have passed the examination in flying colors.

Assam Board of Secondary Education can carry on with every operational and functional effort in Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Tripura etc. The education system of all this places can be controlled by SEBA. The secondary education in Assam was started in the year 1835. That was the time when the East India company have taken all the control under it and the head quarter of the board was in Calcutta. Assam Board of Secondary Education have established various high schools and colleges in order to make an improvement in the education system of the particular place.
